Craziness

That is the only word that explains this little guy. He honestly can be super quiet and you would never know he was sitting next to you. The very next second he is screaming and going crazy running around the room. For those of you that lived through Seven's crazed out obsession with Cars Movie you will be happy to know that Michael has an obsession of his own... Monster Trucks

This past September we took him to his first Monster Truck show and from his expression you would have thought he didn't even notice the trucks were there. Turns out it changed his little 2 year old life. He has a few of them (and don't tell him but will have more in a few days) and he goes in spurts, but most of the time will take them everywhere with him. He loves to eat Chicken nuggets (or any food for that matter) and watch "Moonstar Twuks on da Teebee" as he says it. He knows a lot of the names of them and has taken up actually cheering them on at times. A big change from the stone faced child at the Sublimity Harvest Festival.

His favorite color is orange which he can say if you ask him to, but if you ask him what his favorite color is it sounds much more like "engine" than "orange".

Look Who's Crawling

It has been quite awhile since updates have been done here as you all know, but alas here it is. Michael is growing that is for sure. Soon he will have to gain some ninja skills to protect himself from his older brother, but the rolling and screaming has kept him alive this long. Michael is showing his own personality more and more each day. He seems to be much quieter than the beast unless being attacked by the beast. He is also beginning to crawl. He still isn't very quick by any means but he has getting up on all fours, lunging forward and smashing his face into the carpet down pat. He is much faster at retreating which in his case is probably a better place to start.

Michael is almost all smiles. Even when he is upset if he sees a smiling face he seems to find it within him to smile back and then proceed screaming again. He even smiles at his big brother between attacks and loves him being around. Although, he does frequently watch Seven with a frightened stare.

He has started to eat some solid foods as well which is going well. He loves to be around people and for the most part would rather be held than play on his own like his brother.

There are new picture pages up on both the boys' blogs and soon to be some pictures of their costumes as well.

They Grow Up So Fast

Michael is almost 4 months old and growing everyday. He is smiling so much and loves his sleep. He has done well adjusting to having a Daddy actually at home and in his life now and has been spitting up almost every chance he gets on him to make up for lost time. This Picture was taken at Logan Newell's birthday party and as you can see warranted a blog update. There are some fun pictures of both of the boys on Seven's blog in his 2nd B-day Pictures page.

Say Cheese!

Well here it is for the world to see. Michael has finally been caught on camera smiling. The picture may be a little grainy due to the fact that it was taken with a cell phone, but as all you parents know sometimes you don't have time to get prepared for the perfect picture and you run with what you have got on hand at the time. Michael is growing by leaps and bounds and has almost caught up to Seven's birth weight. He is awake more of the time now and is getting frequent lessons on subjects such as cars and wrestling. He loves being a little brother and is surprising happy around Seven considering the amount of abuse that he gets from him.

Does Michael want to come out and play?

It seems that a lot of the pictures that have been taken lately are of Michael asleep. But the funny part for me is that also a lot of them Seven is trying to wake him up or just playing with him while he sleeps. I guess its hard for the older brother to understand why Michael didn't come out just ready to play with cars and run around crazy all day long in the dirt.
But soon enough mommy will be busy with two little boys running around doing all they can to just go outside and get dirty. Hopefully Seven will be as willing to share his cars with him then as he is to show them to him now. Also... New picture pages added to both the boys pages. It's hard to decide which pictures to put on what page since most of them have both of the bays in them. So they are split pretty evenly with some personal pictures of them individually.

Look to the side bar and you will now see a link to a picture page. There are some pictures of Michael at the hospital with family and then some that the hospital took and put up on their website. In this picture Seven is burping Michael for mommy. I can't say from experience, but it appears that he either is constantly sleeping or he just closes his eyes for pictures. Enjoy the pictures and I'm sure that there will be more to come in the near future.

Mommy seems to be doing fine, but as I am in Georgia still its hard for me to really say yet.
